blender palette colors do not save colors well in Blender 4.2

It saves any color as black. I went back to Blender 4.1 to prevent this.  But its better to go to blender 4.0 as a bug with the compositing will give you trouble in the future. (during the bubble exporting segment)

Ooof yeah. This is annoying me to NO END. It will add a swatch, but then you have to click and drag the color into it.

(was also looking for the inverted option that I remembered was in there... helps if I'm on the right drawing tool :D )

Update: this has since been fixed, and colors can be added as before.

Re: inverted option - can you clarify? Do you mean flipping foreground/background colors like here:

In which case there *is* a shortcut, but it doesn't really work well, so the best thing to do is assign your own. Right-click on the two arrows in a circle, and assing/change chortcut to something that makes sense, but isn't obviously something that Blender would use for another operation (eg: X)

Or did you mean like, switching from draw to erase? In which case, this is actually easier - hold down CTRL while in draw, and it will switch to erase.

No.. I'd found it... I was talking about the inverted fill :D Once I switched to the fill bucket, I found it :D

Aaaaaah I see! Hahaha yes, it is a tool setting. Yes, this is both on the tool shelf, and under "Brush Settings" for the fill tool, yes. Unfortunately no shortcuts can be assigned to toggle AFAIK
