Hello Moiez. I'm not sure what you mean, can you post some screenshots. Also I see the time stamp is 8:30 so you applied the modifier and the buttons inherited a different material? You can always select the faces you want and assign any material from your slots to those faces, just as JL has been doing on the lesson.
