The start and end cap are re-sized

Hi,

I try to reproduce the scenario but I am stuck on the situation when I add the start or the end cap they are re-sized and that produces a strange result.

Any idea what I am doing wrongly ? I am using blender 4.1.

Thanks

Maybe it is as simple as applying the scale in your object. So Control + A and apply scale and see if that helps. If not maybe you can post some screenshots and tell us a bit more of what you're doing.

    Hi Patrick,

My guess would also be that it's a matter of Applying the Scale.

But please add some more info (including screenshots), if that doesn't solve the issue.

I could tell more from a screenshot, if you can take one and reply? Will be happy to help.

    Hi,

sorry for my very late feedback.

First thank you for your sugestion of applying transform, but it seems it's not an issue it's the feature itself,

I put here a screenshot who exagerate a little and its clearly visible the top is smaller than the base.

I guess it's how it suppose to works, in my mind, adding the cap start and end it will not resize the base and the top but clearly I was wrong.

That is weird looking. Almost feels like the mesh has some projection mapping, it's like an optical illusion. Maybe you can upload your file so we can take a look at it directly and troubleshoot it better.

Hi Patrick! I'll take a look at this today for you. I'll have to refresh my own memory of the lesson.

So... this is actually correct. The top cap will scale proportionally in accordance with the scale of the object offset and number of array iterations.
