Hi Wayne. The expression sheet in our files doesn't match the one you have in the video. Ours doesn't have the blank space in the first picture. I've solved it by pointing the shader outside of the image in the driver with:
13 if face_type==0 else face_type-1.

It seems you are looking at the older version of the sprite sheet - which I forgot to remove from the file before uploading.
The one that is actually connected to the face material is pictured below.
No adjustments are necessary.
This is in the file and working correctly.
I just missed that in the tidy up phase.
