Hey minus the occasional Instamat crashing i seem to get this when backing. I checked the naming conventions and follower with all the options You used in the video above. Any other ideas? The only thing i can think of is maybe the low poly version is just a bit too large where it cant bake properly? Other than that maybe a UV issue, But that doesnt make sense to me. Unless its a blender export issue?
IS this ok for the Hub? I was reading other users issue and wanted to check orientation
Just showing the UV wrapped Under the High Poly Tire, and naming convention
Hey there! So supporting images seem to look correct at a first glance, I'm wondering if this is UV related somehow?
Would you mind sharing the a screenshot of the UVs for the model in the first image, and maybe one of the baked textures (the baked Normal map might be able to help us out here)? Parts of the model appear to bake correctly, but other parts seem to be baking oddly.
All Images Below of are the UV maps im using in the low poly. All Tire Parts Have the same texture called 'tire'
Here is the combines version of this
Hey xxtraserwonx
Your UV islands are overlapping each other, if you go to the UV Editing workspace and in the 3d view with Hub and Tyre in edit mode, press A to select everything.
In the UV Editor you will see your UV layout, notice the UV islands are overlapping.
You will need to move and scale them to fit in the UV space with a few pixels gap between each.
While you still have everything selected, in the 3d view press U and select unwrap.
Blender will give you a fairly decent unwrap, from here you can adjust the scale of each island depending on the required pixel density of each.
