Why do I see black vertical lines in Image Editor when applying brush strokes?

Why do I see black vertical lines in Image Editor when applying brush strokes? It doesn't do it all the time, and it seems to go away whenever I rotate the object in the 3d view or when I apply another stroke. It will apply it to all 6 surfaces sometimes. Adjusting the image preview also makes it go away. It's not detrimental but it is bothersome. Please see the screenshot. Black Vertical Lines - Image Editor

    I don't know.

Are your (Graphics) Drivers up to date?

    Maybe it's a bug?

Must be one of those small aliasing visualization errors. If it changes when you zoom in and out, it goes away when you move a little, it's not affecting your texture or the visualization in the 3D view, it's nothing to worry about.

I tried messing with Anti-Aliasing options both in Blender and in my NVIDIA Control Panel. No option changes this result. I have to give up on it for now until an answer reveals itself. That being said, it's not that big of a problem.
