Hello. Can you link to a video of the steps you are taking? Maybe some screenshots? Guide is through your process a bit more, to see what you are doing and where the mistake could be.

    Hi grlkrash
Yeah we might need a little more information to be able to help diagnose the issue.

But here are some possible causes.
-the bones are not set to deform
-the armature modifier isn't active on the mesh
-the armature is in "rest position" (only if you pressed that button)
-there's some spelling mistakes in the vertex group names and they don't match the names of the bones
    -Gremlins......sometimes the answer is Gremlins.

Here's a couple of screenshots from the scene ...I'm leaning towards Gremlins lol. Might have to post the blender file

    Hi grlkrash
I can't tell exactly what's going on but I can see in the outliner that you have 2 armature objects.
1 is called "Armature".  And the other is called "Armature.001"

It's quite possible that the armature modifier on the mesh is targeting the incorrect armature object.

That's the most logical thing I can see from these images - but if that isn't the issue you might have to post the file.
