Finding triangles and Ngons

posted to: Modeling Cleanup
In the video, Jonathan is dealing with a couple triangles and Ngons that snuck their way into the model. Aside from manually searching each and every object within the model, is there a fast way to find and identify triangles and ngons? One method I found online is to go Select > Select all by trait > Faces by sides > And then adjusting the number of vertices in the redo panel. Is this a sound method of approaching this? Or are there other ways? Cheers!

Hi Harris, that is what I would do as well.

There's also that 3D printing toolbox addon that checks your model, I have used that a couple of times and it's good.

And you can also select one triangle or Ngon and press SHIFT+G and choose Polygon Sides.
