Power of 2 grid snapping

Question Modeling

Hi!

I have this environment I want to create and I want to match the grid snapping settings from Unreal to Blender.

1. Is there a way to use the power of 2 for grid snapping in Blender?

2. Can I create my own grid steps in Blender (just like in this screenshot below) and then cycle through them quickly? (with a keyboard shortcut)

    Hi Roxana,

Not knowing Unreal, it is hard to understand what you are trying to do, but I think, both your questions get a No as answer...

Maybe with scripting, this can be done...(I would be happily surprised, if so.)

It's not about knowing Unreal or not. I was merely using it as an example to better explain what I want to do.

Don't know if Blender has such customization on the grid, but maybe you can do it via a mesh? You can span to a mesh that way.

You wont be able to do that with an array modifier, possibly with Geometry Nodes or a Script.

    Ok, thanks guys!

If you want to array an object on this type of scale, you could expand on something like this...

Thank you, I'll give it a shot!
