What are some time saving tips for Blender?

What are the 10 best time saving tips in blender? Blender seems like the type of program that if you don't know what

you're doing, you can end up doing something the long way as opposed to the fast way, i.e. modifiers. What are the 10 best tips?

    Here's one:

    Use Hotkeys!

This doesn't mean, that you need to learn all the Hotkeys before you can do anything, but that each time you do something, look at the Hotkey for that operation (the Search Menu, for instance gives most, if not all Hotkeys). That way you will automatically learn the Hotkeys for what you use the most. If there is no Hotkey for something and you find that you are using it a lot, you can assign your own Hotkey, or just put it in your Quick Favorites.

Top 10 tips will depend on what stage of the pipeline you're in. It can be top 10 modeling tricks, top 10 texturing or animation, sculpting, etc. But on a general overview, I'd say is more not the software per se, but the mental hacks you need to tackle a mammoth software such as Blender. And for me it's all about resilience and Grit, know you're going to spend some time tackling some hard stuff and not loose motivation because it will get easier and more and more fun as you exit the steep learning curve. And practice a lot, practice, practice, practice.

I know this might sound weird, but in case you are using social media like instagram or tiktok:

It helped me a lot to train my social media algorithms by watching, liking and following blender related stuff, so it shows me those small short videos filled with hotkeys, tips and tricks and so on, so you basically never stop learning even if you are sitting on the toilet e.g..
I learned a lot of small time saving tweaks by watching those short videos throughout the day, it even inspires sometimes!
    Maybe this helps you too.
