Hi, so I made my own smooth cube to test on and I just can't get the same effect. On the totem it looks great and almost exactly the same. On my cube my waves are fine but if I zoom in the wave edges are really sharp. How can I optimize a mesh or object for these effects, like the totem?

    When you say 'sharp', so you mean jagged, as in too few polygons? The solution could just be a matter of more subdivision levels.
