Hi, during this lesson you mention about a rendering course, that will explain more about denoising. Searching just by render the only course I found is for Blender 2.7, which I think would not apply anymore. Is this topic covered in other courses? I did the modeling, sculping courses, but did not do texture and digital light yet. And at the end of the lesson you also talk about compositing, is this the "Fundamentals of Compositing" by Kent Trammell? Thanks
Hey mmauroornelas
Don't let the Blender version fool you into thinking it would not apply anymore.
The knowledge taught in the older courses on the site is still relevant, just because Blender changes, the core concepts of 3d do not.
We always recommend using the Blender version that is used in the course whilst in the beginner stages of learning. Once you have more experience with Blender, the version you use is less of an issue.
Happy Blending!
Yes I think the Compositing and Rendering Fundamentals are the ones that haven't been updated and back then Denoising wasn't around. As Adrian says most of the core concepts are there though. In the lighting Fundamentals the noise topic will come up a time or two if I'm not mistaken.
