Hello. I've been following the whole process from start to finish and everything was great untill I finished everything and headed to rendering the results.
The problem is that it seems my active camera doesn't render properly. Each time I hit Render it resets to another object, namely the console model. So, Blender makes it an active camera for some reason and it shows me black screen result upon rendering the image. What could be the reason for that? Please help me, because I cant show my results to anyone and this render issue is very discouraging.
By the way, I had bought this course on BlenderMarket prior to registering on this website.
Here are some screenshots to showcase the problem:
Rendering of the image:

What the active camera looks like:

Then I try to set the normal camera as active:

It then seems to set it correctly:

I hit render and boom:

(the ame problem)
I then check with numpad zero to see if the active camera is what I chose, but it again shows the rear part of the model and not what I wanted:

Big bummer. Makes me think Blender hates me for some reason. It's like it is trolling me
Hm weird, Robert RCooperArt ,
My first idea would be that it's using a Local Camera:
Here the Cube is used for Rendering.
But Set Active Object as Camera should fix that (and it seems to have done that for you), but why does it jump back, when hitting Render???
Maybe it's because of Keyframes, but they are on the Console, not on the Camera...
Try disabling the Local Camera checkbox manually (at Frame 1, just to be sure) and see what happens...
If the problem persists, feel free to upload your .blend file (to Dropbox, Googledrive, or so) and post a link here.
I'd recommend updating to 4.0.2. You are on 4.0.1. There were a lot of rendering bug and other issues.Β
1. Yes, make sure local camera isn't checked.
2. Also in properties editor->scene tab->Scene panel->make sure your camera is set in the field box to the right of where it says camera.
3. Make your timeline editor larger and make sure you don't have a camera bind.(It will have a camera icon with the name of bound camera/object. This is easy to create by selecting something(Usually a camera) and with mouse cursor over the timeline editor pressing ctrl+b. Say you where trying to bevel an edge in edit mode and your mouse cursor slides down out of the 3D viewport into the timeline editor BOOM you have a camera bind.Β
It does indeed have a key frame with console become a camera. How do I get rid of it?
Thank you everyone! Everything worked. Now I can share it with everybody. Happy New Year's!
