Hi guys,
say if I wanna create faces between these edges, how would I do it?
So far I have been selecting the upper edge, lower edge, then F, but there has to be a better way right?
Thanks in advance, I hope the image is readable.
(Basically, 2 circles with the same edge count, over each other, create 1 face between each 2 alligning edges
Select two opposing edges and press F to fill to create one face. Then as long as you have quad topology (four vertices per face) you can select the vertical edge on the face and just hold F and it will keep adding faces until you're around or you hit an n-gon.
Or you activate the built-in addon Mesh: Loop tools. With that activated you can select both edge loops -> right click -> loop tools -> bridge. This will connect both edge loops with clean topology.
Some other options: You can select the top and then select the bottom. As long as they have the same amount of edges, you can use Bridge Edge Loops. You can access this through edge menu or bring edge menu to your mouse cursor with ctrl+e or if you are in edge select mode you can find it on context menu(Right click menu). You could also use grid fill from the face menu/Ctrl+F.
***Edit***If you have the edge loop(The vertical edges on both sides selected) then you will need to use grid fill or unselect any edges that are vertical before using Bridge Edge Loops.
