The Byson Genesis is a DIY human-powered AI-assisted electric mobility vehicle project I'm working on.
Everything you see in this video, from the car design to the modeling and animation, was created using Blender.
My journey with Blender started in January 2022, when I came across the incredible animated heavy equipment assembly video by the CG Cookie community. That video ignited a passion within me and inspired me to dream big. The Byson Genesis video represents the progress I've made so far in my Blender 3D modeling journey, but this is just the beginning.
Thanks, Omar. Am super glad I stumbled upon it when I did. Props to everyone who contributed to it.
Incredible work MrMoneyBagz! I hope you're extremely proud of what you've accomplished in less than 2 years. It's an honor that you were inspired by the heavy machinery project! Thanks for sharing
Thank you, Kent! Your words mean a lot. I'm thrilled to be part of this community and grateful for your awesome teaching skills. I look forward to sharing more in the future!
Woah, look at you go! That is awesome that the crew inspired you and it turned out great too!
I can’t wait to see what you make from here.
Thanks a bunch, blanchsb! The positive vibes from this community are fueling my creativity. Excited to show you what's next!
Thanks, Adrian! It's fantastic to get such an overwhelming support from the community. Looking forward to learning more from CG Cookie!
This is great for less than 2 years. Inspiring for me at the very least.
I am wondering if this is a made up product/project or a real start-up product
I appreciate it, thehomme! This is actually a real product that I designed with plans for monetization when it becomes tangible. Currently, it's a weekend DIY project until I complete the first prototype at home. Looking forward to sharing the entire build process on my YouTube channel soon!
Interesting. It reminded me of this https://www.autoexpress.co.uk/renault/twizy but the price point of that is all wrong. I think there's def a market for a kind of covered electric assisted cargo bike (like Byson) if the cost can be brought inline with what's already out there
Just checked out the link, thehomme. That's exactly what I thought when researching the project. The price of most human-powered mobility vehicles I discovered is almost like buying a car (At least a second-hand car in good condition). There's indeed a need for a new, affordable contender in the market :-).
Here's another I've found. I think the key is having the advantages and flexibility of a bike in a congested city but also being covered so it's a practical, all weather solution https://www.e-cargobikes.com/vehicles. Sorry straying from 3d and Blender quite a bit :)
