    Hi Arshdeep AArsh ,

You probably didn't Unzip the split archive correctly.

Please see the answers to the other questions under this lesson (they are all referring to the same problem).

nah! I still cannot find brushes. Can you please send me a separate link for it. I even downloaded 1-10 files (unzipped then with 7zip) but it didn't work. there are 3 folder in it img, ref, scn. i am not able to find brushes in them.

I am trying download all the files again now and see if it will work or not, but I think you should update the course by giving brushes in a separate single folder, it will save a lot of internet data and time. Because my 2 days are wasted in finding the brushes (No hate, just an opinion). Thankfully I have Wi-fi otherwise I have found another way, or my money was gonna be wasted.

    Hi Arshdeep,

    Once again, for clarity:

Put all the .zip.xxx files in 1 folder.

Unzip only(!) the .zip.001 file (the rest will be extracted automatically).

  • Arshdeep Singh(Arsh) replied

This is what I get. I am unzipping the first file (not by selecting others).

  • Arshdeep Singh(Arsh) replied

does not work I am unzipping the .zip.001 file only(!).

  • Martin Bergwerf replied

Did you make a separate folder, where only those .zip.xxx files are in?

  • Omar Domenech replied

Yeah, a 100% of the time the problem is resolved with what Martin is saying, you need to have all the zips in the same place for the unzipping to go one by one in order. You can also check the other threads to see a more detail explanation though.

I downloaded it 3rd time and it worked but you should really update the course and add a single separate zip file for the brushes. It will really help people who cannot download this much of data and this confusion will be all gone.

    Hey AArsh ,
Glad to see you got it working now.
The zip files for the HUMAN course are known as split archives. These are used to preserve the file structure of the unzipped files.
Because there are a lot of files, mostly .blends with external links to textures, reference images etc., split archive zip files maintain these links.
These split archive zip files however, do need to be unzipped slightly differently than regular zip files.

See human-realistic-portrait-creation-more-info, this thread explains the process and lots more.

    Enjoy, HUMAN !
