In addition to my previously posted question, I just wanted to comment that there are just way too many unmentioned keypresses and setting changes. Examples include selecting all/deselecting all, turning the link mode on and off, setting vertex/edge/face selection modes, and probably other settings I haven't caught yet upon many rewindings of the video. I'm sure Kent is very skilled at what he does, but the majority of us are brand new at 3D modeling and texture work and Blender in general and I think a lot of us would appreciate some more hand-holding until we get further along.

Hi Justin - Have you watched all the courses that make up the "Modeling in Blender" Flow? https://cgcookie.com/flow/modeling-in-blender/

I haven't, but this course (Fundamentals of Texturing) is the third module of the "Introduction to Blender" flow (https://cgcookie.com/flow/introduction-to-blender/), so I was under the impression I was supposed to finish these first. I'd note that the first module of the Modeling in Blender flow (Mesh Modeling Fundamentals), which I've completed, is the same as the first module in the Introduction to Blender flow. Should I skip the rest of the modules in the Introduction to Blender flow and complete the "Modeling in Blender" flow before coming back to this flow? Kinda confused at what order I'm supposed to be taking these courses in, as I assumed the Introduction to Blender flow would be my starting point.

This might help you. It is a listing of Blender hotkeys. Many of the questions you are asking about are answered here. It might be good to print it out as a reference. There are many such lists available. https://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Doc:2.4/Reference/Hotkeys/All

    Appreciate it.

You're right about starting with the Intro flow. We made the modeling flow so that if/when you want to learn more about modeling, you can expand your knowledge outside the confines of the intro course.
