Hey Guys so I unwrapped an image texture in one of my Blend files and drew on it in texture paint mode and then when i opened up a separate blend file with the same image texture i had used in an entirely different blend file the part where i had drawn was showing up! So when you draw on an image texture does it always show up like that in all your blender files? or was that a glitch or something i missed? thank you and thank you for making these tutorials!

If you save your texture to your hard drive, then you can open that same image in however many Blender instances that you want. The reason being, once saved to your hard drive, your texture is a unique file apart from Blender. So if you make a change in any of your Blender instances (or in Photoshop) and save the texture file. All other programs with the texture open will update with those changes you made.
