Man, I'm just having multiple problems with this tutorial. Current problem is that when I do the scaling at the 3:14 mark, all the vertexes get disconnected from the rest of the model (in the right-side window). In the video, they stay connected to the surrounding vertexes, but on mine they get completely disconnected upon scaling. So if I were to scale it down, the brow is floating in empty space, surrounded by the rest of the brow, and if I scale it up, it covers up the surrounding faces. What am I doing wrong?

    It sounds like you accidentally pressed "Y" which disconnects the selection from the mesh.

    Hey Justin. I had the same problem as well... What I learned was that if I selected the single Vertices, (As opposed to edges or faces) then the shape would move all as one.

    ..If I selected the faces or edges, then the selection would "cut off" from the rest of the object.
