Smooth the edges

Hi thank you so much for your amazing course.

I'm struggling to have the same smooth edges on the eye area and the mouth. How can I fix it? They are very edgy.

Thank you,

    Hello Alena. You can post some screenshot to better see the result. But in the end I think it's about practice, Kent doesn't do anything special, he uses the same tools, he's just done it so many times he has the eye and the wrist for it.

    The look too choppy, I'm not using the tablet so I'm not sure if that's the pressure related, but if you have an advice it will help me move forward.

    Thank you,

    When I apply the smooth feature it ads too much pressure and erases the whole part basically.

    I understand that the first try of course won't be perfect, but I need to see how to make it smooth that's it.

    Thanks,

    Looks like you are lacking resolution more than anything. Try lowering the detail size of the dynamic topology. Maybe a 7px or 5px

    Exactly like Omar says;

    But remember that the Smooth Brush doesn't update the Geometry.

    You can go over the areas with the Inflate Brush with a Strength of 0, or use the Simplify Brush.

    (There are other Brushes that update the Topology, that you can use, but these work well.)
