Big Bevel issue on Press Start course

Hello, I am writing here because I am stuck in the progress of the press start course.. Here is my problem : when we have to add bevels on the ventilation holes at the back of the cartridge slot with the "mean bevel weight" function, it does not work and it cancels the bevels that I had made on the buttons (with "mean bevel weight" too and perfectly ok! ) earlier in the tutorial.. I tried to understand and strangely, the ventilation holes on the right work, and all those on the left cause the bug if I try to do the bevel!! I tried to not bevel these vents and to continue the tutorial but other attempts to bevel for example on the main faces cause the same thing... when I try to make individual bevels (without modifier) on each of the "problematic" edges, I strangely have no problem which makes me say that it may not come from a topology error? (which I did very carefully) is this a known bug with version 3.6? And I have purple vertices too ... They came out of nowhere..... if someone know what does this mean? and finally, when I add a mesh like a simple plane, it is huge!! I changed the metric scale for centimeters in the scene section but this is requested in the tutorial.. do you think you have an explanation about this too? I would like to point out that I can send you my .blend project if that helps you understand?? Thank you in advance, wish you a good day.

    HI Cyril,

There are a few things you are doing wrong, you have Clamp Overlap on in the Bevel Modifier, which stops larger Bevel to happen complete, when there is a smaller Bevel somewhere.Purple Vertices (or Edges) are Creased instead of Bevel Weighted (those are close together in the Menu and easily 'mis-clicked'):

    There might be more...

And a Plane comes in at 2mx2m by default and your Console is really small.
