Eye lid problem (HUMAN Course)

Question Sculpting

This might be more of a sculpting problem but I ran into it while getting deeper into the micro details on the eye. I can't figure out why the caruncle and upper eye lid is showing up as translucent via the SSS. I've tried to deeper the geometry in edit mode to minor effect. With subdivision surface applied to 1 I noticed some glitching on the geometry but can't figure out where its from?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! Thank you so so much in advance!

    Hard to tell,Javier aajpineda2 ,

But maybe the back of the upper eyelid is too close to the front, so that with a Subdivision Surface Modifier added, the back is partly in front of the front of the eyelid (I hope that makes sense). Similar with the canuncle.

SSS works with volumes and with the back Faces in front of the front Faces, you create sort of a negative volume...

    I'm really just guessing here.

It looks like the eyelid is maybe too thin, or as Spikey said negative volume.
But it is definitely the SSS effect.

You can see the thinness in the first image, looks like a little Z-fighting.

Maybe jump into sculpt mode and plump up the meat in that area, make t a little more puffy? SO that the geometry unfolds itself and doesn't intersect.
