My Revolver from Blender Mesh Modeling Bootcamp

Hey Guys, some courses later, I textured the Revolver with procedural textures. I'm ok with it so far. The white texture of the handle is something like artificial ivory. What do you think?

I think you did a very good job. The texture being uniformly all over gives way the proceduralness a bit, it's always a good idea to have the edges worn off since it's where objects reflect the wear and tear most often. Apart from that, the presentation can be other than having a blank background, some solid color with a radial gradient is always a winner. But those notes are a little bit of nit picking, you did good texturing work 🤟🏼

That is actually an awesome submission for such a beginner style course! Nice work.
My feedback to add is getting an "eye" for dirt/grunge/dust and light damage on such a model would add that that next level realism. These things make their way into the cracks and crevices of the model just like in real life.

OOmar Domenech thx for your comment. You're right, It is not in a scene, but I will lay the revolver on my Desk Scene ;) have to rework the light settings because that's my actual course.

@Shawn Blanch I decreased the scratches too much and understood, the visibility and the presentation of this image is really not optimal. thx for your comment.
