Bevel Modifier stops working after Boolean Modifier is applied

At 8:28, the boolean modifier for the A & B letters is applied, and in the tutorial, the bevel modifier stays. When I follow along, the second I click "apply" for the boolean modifier, all the work of the bevel modifier for the console disappears in the viewport, even though the modifier itself has remained untouched and present in the modifiers tab. I'm using Blender 3.4 and have double-checked my values, but it happens every time. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Hello Miranda. Sounds kinda glitchy. Can you upload a link to your file for us to test it out? You can upload it to a Drop Box or Google Drive and post the link.

    Hi Miranda FFencingPrincess ,

    I remember this one...it's a bug in a certain Blender Version (3.4 ?).

There was a post in this Forum already and Jonathan Lampel knew an alternative solution, but I can't find that post...

Anyway, switching to a newer (or older) Version should fix it...

I still can't find that post, but if I remember correctly, Jonathan mentioned that changing the Boolean Solver (from Exact to Fast, or the other way around) also solves the problem.

I switched the Boolean Solver from Exact (the default) to Fast, and it worked perfectly! Thank you both so much for your help.
