After checking the "normalized" box from (Render > Bake > Normalized) and then hitting the bake button. My Gizmo didn't lighten in contrast/color in the 3d view port in texture mode. What might cause this? There aren't any textures currently applied. I'm following along with the project file.
Also,I followed the directions up until 5:04 and and it doesn't show the scratches. There are lighter areas on the Gizmo now, but they look like errors in the mesh as opposed to an intended "worn" look.
