Delete brushes

Question

Hi,

I accidentaly clicked the “Add Brush'' button several times and now I have a bunch of brushes that I don’t need. How do I delete them? I can’t find it anywhere. Thanks

Accidentally clicked several time Lol. That's like the police when they're like I shot the criminal by accident, and they have 20 bullet wounds.

Ok so change the Outliner to the Blender File, the twirl down Brushes and then right click and delete the brush you don't need.

It is a strange quirk of how Blender currently handles data though, so if you didn't find that intuitive then you're not alone. Blender's brush system is going to get an overhaul in the future, but exactly when is still up in the air.

Excellent Answer Omar! Your answer here not only answered the same question for me, but also helped me understand how to truly delete excess Materials and even excess primitives when I delete primitives so I can start clean for each of Jonathan's videos.

It also helped me see a little more about how Blender works under the hood. I was wondering why in the world the subsequent cubes would be Cube.001, .002 and .003 when I had already deleted the previous one. This tells me that when we delete things from the outliner and the view-port, they are still not deleted 'in fact'.

You just stopped a lot of future headaches. Also good to not have to look through many generated materials when you just want to find things quick.
