Question Materials and Textures

Hello guys! Do you have any suggestions how to make procedural texture like this?:) Orange things should be convex-04-18 16.52.54.jpeg

(this shouldn't look very procedural in the end)

Doing that specific shape with procedural textures sounds very challenging. Why not modeling it or texture paint it?

The course I've seen that is all about procedural is the Blender Cloud one. Link down below. I tried following it once, but gave up, it's very difficult. I will give it another try after completing the Geometry Nodes one.

    Hi Marfa,

I'd start with a Musgrave Texture, maybe in a setup like this:

There are tons of variations you can make

Thank you, Martin, I'll explore wood options! Also never saw the trick with linear light comes into mapping before:)
