Hi,
I have backface culling enabled and it doesn't work for all my meshes.
I'm working on a personal project, modeling a room, and I want to see inside the room through the walls. And it doesn't work.
I thought that was weird and I tried to test with a simple plane and that works just fine.
Is there something wrong with the walls? I tried recalculating the normals inside so I would have them pointing towards me, but nothing.
Hi Roxana,
The problem is, that your walls have thickness and both sides should be facing away from you, for Backface Culling to 'work'. You need inconsisitent Normals here. ALT+N gives the Normals Menu and let's you Flip the selected Faces. So you can get something like this:
As far as I know, this is not possible, if you are using a Solidify Modifier.
Oh, ok, got it. I did use a solidify modifer and it was applied early on. This is something to keep in mind, thank you.
