I was wondering, do you first bake your normal maps, ambient, and specular maps then use a environment light? if your doing an out door scene?

    In what context do you mean? Like for a game/realtime situation? Baking normal maps, ambient, and specular maps isn't tied in anyway to environment lighting in my general workflow...

    by this I notice a sun lamp helps bring out my normal maps compared to using a plane with emission, so I am wondering if you bake the normal's with the sun then use environment lighting?
