    Not snapping to vertex

    When I select my bones and press G, then hold control (with vertex selected in snapping tools) it does not snap. I also tried toggling snapping on with the button and it still refused to snap. What could this be from?

      Okay actually I think I solved it possibly. When I select the head then the snapping works. When I select the whole bone it does not. I’m not sure if it is supposed to happen that way but that’s what worked.

      I think that's because you need to have your snapping to either vertex or edge, if you have it in face it doesn't snap to anything on the bone. So the bone is faceless.

      Hi Emily CCGGorgon ,

      Snapping takes a bit to get used to, but it's worth it and it works! With the Head or Tail selected and also with the whole Bone selected (but it will Snap with the Head or the Tail or the middle of the Bone, depending on the Snapping Settings (Snap With > Closest/Center/Median/Active)).

      Move the Mouse Cursor over the Vertex you want to Snap to.
