Hi! Just as knuckelhead posted a while ago I have quite a bit of noise in the preview render but the thing is I'm using your source files and therefore should have the same settings as you but for some reason it's still quite a bit of noise. I need to crank the preview samples up as much as 500 and above for it too look like in the video. Which ofcourse makes it a bit hard to work with... Is there some difference in settings with the newer version in Blender than seen in this video? (2.76) Since it's just for training it doesn't really matter but it would be nice to work with a clear image and also perhaps nice to know for the future.

    Also when I've reached the 05 training video (glossy fresnel) my rendered images not only have the noise but generally has a very poor resolution. Shouldn't the setting be the same as yours since I use the source files? I'm a beginner so don't know much about rendering yet..

    Sorry don't see an option to edit posted comments.. Anyway, the resolution was set 25% so put it up to 100%, missed that you did that. So resolution wise it's somewhat fixed but the noise problem still remains. But when you're rendering the test images in the 05video you get "path tracing tile x/702" however I only get "path tracing tile x/195". Just to test I opened up the source file "finished_packed" and did a image render and there i also got 702 tiles. Why's that? What setting am I missing? I hope I don't sound too stupid and I'm grateful for any help :D
