    I have another general question that i've asked elsewhere but am not getting answered. I've read that GPU use can't do SSS...

    I have another general question that i've asked elsewhere but am not getting answered. I've read that GPU use can't do SSS etc, so what happens when i'm set to use GPU but have a character w/ SSS? does it use teh GPU for everything else then switch, or default to CPU because it knows there's stuff my options can't cope w/? TIA

      Not sure what would've happened, but my guess is it would've ignored the SSS parts. I doubt Blender would switch by itself without some sort of confirmation or setting from the user.
