Option for making precise cuts with the knife tool?

Does the knife tool have a way to move in increments like the rotation and translation tool? For example, if I wanted to make a perfect 45 degree cut, how would I do that instead of trying to eyeball it?

I know the knife tool can snap to vertexes, and can be locked to X, Y, and Z axises.

If you want something different you might want to take a look at bisect.  I'm no expert in that, but it has more tools for cutting at specific angles.

    Hi Enviritas,

The Knife Tool is mostly used as a free-hand tool, but if you press A while making a cut with the Knife Tool, you are Constraining it to an Angle. By default this snaps to 30° increments, but a (secret) lesser known feature is, that you can change the increments by typing a number, for instance A, 45 gives:

Most tools in Blender accept numerical values. It's the same for moving, rotating, scaling, etc. When your in doubt, always try entering the value when you activate a tool and chance are Blender will accept it.
