UV-Packer issue

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, but UV-Packer is moving all the islands the left edge and making them very, very tiny and in a straight line, from top to bottom. I wish I could show you, but I don't see an option here to attach images. Can anyone help? I'm sure Blender's packing will do just fine here, but I would like to find out why this is happening for future reference.

    Hi ttrizicklo ,

You should be able to add an image when you 'answer' your own question here:

For some reason that isn't possible when you ask a question directly under a lesson (yet, I'll notify the devs).

And a picture would be so helpful here.

Rather than an image, the blend file would be even more helpful, since by the way you are describing it I can perfectly picture what is going on, the solution though is a different thing. It could be a bug. It would be nice to try it out and see, hence the file.

I don't know exactly what's happening just from the description, but applying scale is my first go-to solution for UV size, stretch, and layout issues.

Thank you for responding so fast, everybody. I see that I can attach images now, but not the blender file. Here are the screenshots of the blender packing, UV-Packer, and the model. I'm a beginner, so anything else you see wrong with the model, please let me know as it will help me grow. Thank you, again.

Here's the link to the blender file.

Sorry, I can't help you, that's an Addon and it doesn't work on Linux.

Can't find anything wrong with your model though.

Ah yeah, it looks like it's the add-on. Blender's packing works fine in this case, as does a different add-on, UV Pack Master. For the purposes of this course, the default Blender pack should be fine.

I had to use the default blender packaging as well. For me the free addon didn't work as it should
