Don't be too hard on me since I don't have a pad, I do it with my mouse. I ONLY made the first 3 tutorials. I am at the very beginning of the course.
The lips shape was optional at this point and it wasn't meant to be perfect. However, that was the most difficult part! I remade it a lot of times. I always incremement saves cause it is easy to mess this up.

I also re-did the first few (3 or 4) lessons quite a few times, then, when the base is good, the rest follows.
Good luck on doing this with your mouse. Take many breaks, because it is going to be really hard on your hand (and wrist).
There are people that sculpt everything with only their mouse and get great results, but when you get into troubles, I'd really recommend investing in a cheap tablet. Drawing wrinkles, for instance, with a mouse is extremely hard, while it is quite easy and fun with a pen and tablet.
For now, keep going!
And if you haven't done so yet, it is highly recommended to watch the whole course through one time, without even opening Blender.
