In Cycles Render, once the rendering is settled, I see a lot of white pixels (white specks) sprinkled throughout the scene. More than I see in the videos. What accounts for that noise and is there a way to reduce that?

Actually, I found one solution by searching online. Under render settings, I set indirect clamping to a value of 1. That made the scene very crisp and eliminated 100% of the noise I was seeing. I am seeing the noise being referred to as "fireflies" online. It would seem that adjusting clamping might not be the most optimal way to deal with this, but for now, I think it will do until I learn more... If anyone has any better suggestions, I'm all ears!

Yeah, I'm having a similar issue. If anyone knows anything more about why that happens I'd love to hear it.
