Back Culling Option for Face Snapping

posted to: Snapping

Hi Jonathan,

Also what does the option for back culling do?

It hides the back side of faces, turns them invisible. It's useful for particular cases such as if you want to work on an interior and the walls are getting in your way. Also I think games uses it a lot to save on resources.

I think Omar is referring to the Backface Culling option in the viewport display options, but you can think of it the same way when it comes to snapping. If enabled, you won't be able to snap to the backs of faces.
