      Sorry Max, I have a strong cold/flu with high fever so I'm not upto looking at your whole Node tree, but what you have wrong, is that you put a Value (grey) into the Displacement, meaning that the displaces  in the same x, y and z direction:

      You can find that Node under Vector > Displacement.

      Yeah that is probably why it looks like wind is blowing it from down below. Other than that, it looks good.

      I was so pissed off that I actually deleted my blend file. Nodes can be boring when you start.
