A couple observations.

Sorry if it sounds rude to teach the teacher, I just like the open learning atmosphere.

But instead of E to extrude, RMB, and shift-S, you can press Alt-E and select Extrude Along Normals (only works when you have a face selected).  It's just one click faster.  Not a big deal.

Also, here's a nifty trick to make an edge loop on triangles.  https://youtu.be/evqDi0FNwsw

Yeah those are both good tips Benjamin. Great tips are always welcomed. Cool addition.

Excellent tip Benjamin_Bass! Please never think it's rude to suggest workflow suggestions or tips.

11 years ago my ego may have been hurt because back then I thought I had know all of Blender tools / hotkeys AND be an expert in every workflow in order to call myself a teacher. But I'm much wiser now. As Gleb Alexandrov reminded me recently: "We can't know everything."

He's absolutely right. Teachers will never know all the hotkeys and our level of expertise can always be debated. All we can do is teach the best methods we do know. Thankfully community members like you keep us and everyone else informed too!

Well, it happens to be you are an excellent and prolific teacher, even if you don't know all the hotkeys!  Thanks for the kind reply.  I remember this also when I took Andrew Price's donut tutorial (or was it the anvil?).  He said:  there's no such thing as learning ALL of Blender.  BTW, here is another totally unrelated but SUPER useful hot key you may not know about: in order to switch which mesh you are sculpting on, you no longer have to go back into Object Mode.  You can just press Alt-Q on the object you wish to sculpt on.  This works in other modes too, like edit and paint!

That ALT+Q is indeed a great shortcut Benjamin!

I used to set all Objects I wanted to sculpt on in Sculpt mode, and then just (Right Clicked to) select the Object in order to be able to sculpt on it (doesn't seem to work when using Left Click Select!), but this is very flexible and I like the flashing.

That was another nice tip. Benjamin will slowly but surely be recognized as the nice tip guy.
