can't get the arm bones, fk, to work. I read the previous question answers and followed the steps with the new 3.0 file but sitll can't use the arm bones

I followed the link guide, linked the rivet file from collection, and did the f3 library override then ran the 2.8 python script, that came with the course files, from the text editor but i still can't move the arm. I read all the answers from the previous question on this issue but did not have any luck.


edit: i downloaded the new bot file, 3.0, that wayne provided in the dropbox link in the previous question answer thread.

    I don't know anything about animating or rigging, but did you try to set the Inverse Kinematic slider to 0:

    when i did that i can move the arm but now i have a new problem, the hand bone is off in space. i cant move the hand bone anymore

    turn off IK

    make sure IK in UI is not blue

    Hi Puddles.
    When you switch to FK, the IK controls will not affect the movement of the character.

    You will have to use the Hand_FK when you are in FK mode.

    The Hand_IK is for IK mode.
