Hi,

It seems the layout has changed a bit since the recording of this video. I wonder what I should choose for the tile size. (x & y don’t exist anymore). Thanks!

    I'd say the default of 2048 is fine. I suppose they removed the X and Y to be more user friendly.

    Yes Roxana, Omar is right.

    TLDR: don't change anything.

    The new defaults are pretty much optimized (for GPU Rendering) already and don't need to be changed, unless in specific situations and when you know what you're doing.

    The default is set to so-called Adaptive Sampling, this means that 'areas' where there is no noise, get less Samples than noisy 'areas'.

    There are one or more (depending on your hardware) Denoise options,  but they usually don't work well with animations (at the moment).

    One interesting option however is the Time Limit (set to 0 sec by default, which means it's disabled), which allows you to render an animation in a certain amount of time (for instance when you sleep), by setting a maximum of time, one frame can use to be rendered.

    I'd really leave everything else as it is for now.
