Hi All, can anyone share a workflow (steps) or comprehensive tutorial on creating shape key drivers. I’ve covered so much information in the Blender YouTube abyss and have not found a reliable / repeatable way of doing this. Any help is appreciated.
Hey Keith,
I am unaware of a comprehensive tutorial on shape keys or shape key drivers.
However, there is a couple of lesson within the HUMAN course, that use shape keys.
First in chapter 1 - facial-feature-swap
Then again in chapter 2 - helpful-shape-key
Drivers are used extensively in animation, take a look at these lessons in the Off-Road course.

Shape keys are not difficult to use, the main problem is to make sure you have the correct shape key selected prior to making any changes to the model.
Drivers are a little more complicated to work out for your exact need, with all these lessons you should be able to come up with a solution for your project.
As with any subject in Blender, an instructor can teach the subject based on the project, when we then transfer those skills to our own projects, we need to understand enough to implement them and adjust them to specific needs.
I hope this helps!
Andrian, thank you for the information. Very helpful. I will explore it. Appreciated.
