rigging hair.

hi everybody.

just finished "Introduction to Character Modeling". course and i have added some extra facial hair to the charcter. when i try to rig the charcter only one eyebrow doesnt move right. its not mirrored. bothe brows has the same modifiers in the same order. bothe weight painted exactly the same.

how can i solve this?

thanks

I'm not much of a rigger, but maybe what's happening is that some other bone has those vertices as weights? Check the other bones and see if they have influence over that part. In any case, let shine the Wayne signal to the sky. @waylow

Hi Doran, I don't think it is actually weight painted correctly.

It looks like the brow mesh is being affected by some other bone (like the neck or spine) so that when the head rotates it is being left behind.
One thing to watch out for is non normalised weights.  A vertex might be 1.0 for a specific bone and display as full influence (red).  However, if it is also at 1.0 for another bone then Blender will normalise this under the hood.  So actually that vert will be affected 0.5 and 0.5 by each bone.
You can normalise all the deformation groups and it will display correctly.
