Metallic rivets

I went ahead and created another separate UV paint texture so I could make my rivets brassy. That worked out great. However, I wish that I could make my black/gray brackets very slightly metaliic. I guess there's no way to do that now that it's in there together with the wood? Maybe this is a dumb question. This part of blender is new for me.

    I think you can alter their metallic look after the fact, yes. You can work with your maps plugged into the roughness slot and with a color ramp lower or up the values to achieve that.

    That's where I am BTW. Yeah. My lock is quite different. It actually has a slot in the top where a tooth from the top rim fits in when the chest closes.
