Sculpting view issues

Question

I'm guessing I have a setting wrong, but... when I put the apple in "front" view and the adjust the size in the screen, if I go and rotate the apple it's too large to see in the screen. Why the difference? Anyone else have those issues as a beginner in sculpting?

I see if I toggle between Ortho/Perspective and then rotate the object the sizing stays the same. I guess the question becomes "Is there a way to set Blender so when you toggle to "front",  "side", "top" views it stays in Perspective Mode?

... Okay I deselected "Auto perspective" under Navigation Preferences and the sizing problem seems to be resolved for panning around my object. Now the question is generally, "Why is there so much difference in sizing when switching between Orthographic and Perspective?" The biggest annoyance was resolved by deselecting what I did. This is more of a general question I suppose.

Yes I was going to tell about the auto perspective. I guess it's just preference and all being subjective, since it doesn't really bother me the changes in sizes when you go from one view to the other.

Okay, I don't know what I've done other than save my work and turn off Blender to take a break, but now I'm having absolutely NO issues with sizing between Ortho and Perspective. Not that I'm complaining mind you. In fact, I've actually enjoyed the final stages of sculpting the apple. Happiness ensues.

That's great! I was trying to recreate those size issues and wasn't able to...

Glad it's fixed now (even though we don't know how...)
