I don't know why but Blender 3.2 the only way I could get the mirror modifier to work was to apply the solidify modifier then add the mirror.
Hi DDaemeon ,
that indeed shouldn't happen!
In this case, where there is only a Mirror and Solidify Modifier, the order doesn't even matter!
It also has nothing to do with Blender 3.2
Not really sure how you managed to get in that situation, but something is probably wrong with your model (might be serious, that could cause more problems along the way, or mostly harmless....).
Do you mind sharing a screenshot (full UI, as many things visible as possible), or even better, a link to your .blend file?
Yeah. I had changed the order of the modifiers. Don't worry about it. There isn't anything seriously wrong with my model. Except...I am I supposed to have 66 extra vertices after doing solidify. That certainly didn't seem right. No, this is like the cleanest model I ever made. It's all fixed now anyway. So I can't do a screenshot 'cause I am already way past there. I am on the lock and I had started MY lock before I even started the video where he did that so mine is a bit different. I have been modeling since May so if I am having problems, I can usually figure it out. Thanks for the advice/help/feedback though.
