Texture turns pink after adding the mix node to the bump node

When adding the mix node to the bump node, for some reason the entire concrete floor turns to pink (I assume indicating that I've made some kind of error). When plugging the color ramp directly to the bump node, everything worked. Also, when removing the FAC input from the mix node, I get a result again. And when previewing just the mix node in node wrangler, I get black and white colors, as expected. But for some reason, putting it all together causes this error.node-tree.jpg

That's probably an indication, that you have too many Nodes or Shaders for your GPU (Memory!). You didn't really do anything wrong.

If you happen to be using a  Mac, you might try one the latest Experimental Builds of Blender 3.4

If this is the complete Nodetree and it's just acting up on the last Mix Node, you can try removing the MixRGB (Multiply ) Node that goes into the Specular of the Principled BSDF.

How much memory does your Graphics Card have?

If you provide a link to your .blend file (via Dropbox, Googledrive, or so), I will test it on my computer and see what can be done (my GPU is not the best and has only 4 GB memory).

That is weird, that has never happened tome ever, even with a crappy computer. I believe yes, this might be another case where the blend file could be useful to do the troubleshooting.

    Similar behavior described here:

Hmm. I'll check out that question as well. My computer has an 8gb gpu. I've done a lot more complicated node setups in the past, so I wouldn't think that would be an issue, but I'm still pretty new with materials / shading, so I could be wrong. Yes it is definitely your computer, it opens up nicely here. Looking great.

Maybe try opening your fine on a different Blender version?

I have a 4 GB GPU and it renders fine..I even Mixed in another Shader without a problem:

Maybe it's time to update your Graphics Card driver. Remember that Eevee is completely dependent on your GPU!

Alright, good to know at least. Thanks for taking the time guys!
