Cannot find Principled BSDF

Hi - I cannot seem to find the principal shader for the plastic grey, let alone add one. I don't know if I missed adding something earlier and that's why it isn't showing up.

    Hi @rimi ,

The Nodes are probably simply 'off-screen' somehwere. You can, with your mouse pointer in the Shader Editor area, select all the Nodes with A. Then press the Home key, or the period key on your Numpad (if you have one).

Yes, it is as Martin says, that happens to me all the time. The reason seems to be that Blender has a grid 0, 0, 0 default where all the nodes pop into existence, and sometimes your view is off that 0, 0, 0 center point. Say you're way out in a corner for example, and when you add the node, it pops in where it usually does but your not in that center, but you don't know it because everywhere looks the same. So just hit A to select every node and period key in the numpad to fit everything into view and that should shed a light into  where that node is.
