A guide for mapping syllables to timing

posted to: Relative Method I

Hi, I'm having a hard time understanding when to use the Bezier handles to adjust the timing of the jaw movement. I was wondering if there is a sort of a guide that talks about which syllables need what sort of timing. I feel that it is important to get the timing right if I'm just sticking with the jaw movement for lip syncing. Whatever I did by following Wayne in this tutorial does not look as good as his work.

I think in the next lesson Wayne goes through the timing if I remember correctly. Even removing some syllables.

    Hi Deepak,
There isn't really a guide for different syllables as it all depends on how something is being said rather than what is being said.
Figuring out how to make it look good takes practice.

This is probably not what you wanted to hear, but the more you do it, the better you will get.
    So keep going!
