at 1:30 when you you press S then X to make the loop cut and scale it your video shows dots to make the cut accurately,i dont see any dots to help me make the cut exactly where i need to.
what am i doing wrong? because it does make the cut at scale but i cant see where am making the cut,please help.
nevermind,its just the lines overlaping make it very difficult to see

They can indeed be difficult to see sometimes, depending on the background. Here is what you can do: Go to Edit > Preferences > Themes > 3D Viewport and scroll down (I have 3 columns here, because it is Fullscreen, but you probably have it in 1) to where you can change the color and/or size of Vertices:
This can help with their visibility.
If you hover (with your mouse pointer) over a field and hit the Backspace key, it will reset to the default value (or color).
